Meet the W(h)iners

Brandi
Brandi is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. Brandi attended Northern Arizona University, where she eventually met her husband, Russell. She always swore she'd never marry a military man and yet, here she is, happily married to a soldier. A former Miss Independent, she's got a lot to wine about--I mean, whine. New to the (professional) wine world, Brandi is looking forward to learning more how to help others choose their own favorite wines. Brandi herself is a dry, red wine kinda gal--the drier, the better. She's thinking that may say something about her humor, as well...

Nicole
Nicole is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also ended up meeting her husband, Ben, in college, though they didn't actually start dating until after they'd both graduated. She had a pretty typical army wife wedding--quick, small, and perfect. Though she currently resides in this cold, wet place, Nicole prefers her wine to be like the Sahara Desert--dry, dry, dry.

Kimberly
Kimberly is originally from Chicago, Illinois where she attended Illinois State University. When she met her husband, Chad, at an engagement party for her future maid of honor, she didn't think it'd extend past friendship. But after he left for the Army, she realized how much she missed him, and the rest, as they say, is history. Whining (or wining) helps Kimberly keep up with the cat, house, laundry and cooking. Kimberly mostly goes for sweet wines--typically white, but she'll take the occasional red, as long as it's sweet.

Lauren
Lauren hails from Cold Spring, New York, and attended the State University of New York at New Paltz. A wife in waiting, Lauren met her "husboyfriend" while she was bartending near West Point Academy, where Cody was in his junior year. She is currently suffering through nursing school, which takes up most of her time and offers plenty of reason for w(h)ining. Lauren is more of a beer gal, herself, but she will gladly drink something sweet and red.

Jessica
Jessica is a former Indy 500 Princess, coming out of her native Indianapolis, Indiana. She met her husband at Ball State University because she was...let's say, "hot for teacher" in an Army ROTC course. Luckily, Thomas was not actually a university professor, and the two ended up falling quickly in love, as most of us did. Jessica likes her wines sweet and fruity, to complement her salty humor.
